If someone in your surroundings is pregnant or has just given birth, this is a beautiful and valuable gift that they will never forget. The parent(s) will learn from me how to massage their baby in the comfort and safety of their own home.

Once purchased, I will send you the voucher via email. Is the voucher a gift? Then please enter the recipient’s address in the comments field. If applicable, I will send you a separate invoice for the travel expenses.

The baby massage sessions usually take place at the parent(s) home. If the travel time exceeds fifteen minutes by bike, I will ask for a travel cost reimbursement or the baby massage can take place at my practice space in Amsterdam Oud-West or live online via Zoom.

Parents can get in touch to schedule an appointment after the birth using the link provided on the gift voucher. Baby massage is suitable for babies up to approximately six months old.

The appointment will take place during office hours and will last about an hour.

After scheduling an appointment, I will send the parent(s) practical information. I will provide the massage oil.

First lesson, focus on undressing, oiling the entire body, legs and feet, and simple movements to ease colic, attention to dressing,

Second lesson, a review of the first lesson, massage of the belly and chest,

Third lesson, review of previous lessons, massage of the little arms,

Fourth lesson, review of previous lessons, massage of the back and buttocks, face, and baby yoga exercises,

Fifth lesson, review of previous lessons, baby yoga exercises.

In addition, there is attention to the haptic (touch-based) way of picking up, carrying, and laying down your baby, as well as opportunities to exchange experiences with other parents.

If your baby cries a lot or is restless, consider whether a private baby massage course might be more suitable for you. Here you can also find information if you want to organize a group yourself, for example, with parents you know from your pregnancy course.

Move with your baby consists of three or five lessons, each lasting five-quarters of an hour.

Intended for the youngest babies (6-16 weeks) and slightly older babies (4-9 months).

Small group.

Of course, you can feed or change your baby during the course.

What are the truly important aspects of daily interaction? How do you experience parenthood? Learn how to lift or lay your baby in a way that is comfortable for them. Discover how to make tummy time easy and enjoyable for your baby. What do your baby’s body signals reveal? Should you comfort crying? Learn songs and games for your baby, so you can go through the day singing and playing. The exercises for your own recovery are done with your baby. Dance while carrying your baby and enjoy a cup of tea at the end of the class, exchanging experiences with other parents.

In “Moving with Your Baby 2,” designed for babies aged four to nine months, the games are more physically challenging, with a focus on the interaction between the babies. The lessons are structured around several themes, including interaction/communication, the development of your baby in back and tummy positions, and why you shouldn’t make babies sit or stand before they do it naturally.
